Window

An uneasiness in the gut, heart-strings being pulled at, constant glances at his Shell Cell, and over all, being consumed by worry.

Yep.

Leonardo understood it now.

Sitting here, up in April and Casey's apartment on a rainy night, he finally got it. To think, just staring out a now rain covered window had brought that whole thing to light: that feeling.

What was that feeling? How Renet felt whenever Leo was gone and out on patrol somewhere; with no way to contact him and playing out every possible horrible and terrible scenario there was. Yep, Leo was finally experiencing this himself. However, much like his lovely little blonde, he had the same faith in her that she had in him...Yet, the worry still remained strong.

There it was again; just how Renet always felt. No matter how capable she knew Leo was, she couldn't help but worry.

Letting out a sigh, the blue banded turtle wondered just in what time period Renet was in, what she fixing or preveting...Or was she dealing with Savanti-esque monsters? There was no telling...Not until she came home would be know. In the same way that Renet didn't know just who Leo had gone up against until he came home to tell her.

Another sigh followed and Leo reached his hand up to the window.

I can't stand the rain...'gainst my window...I can't stand the rain...

He thought back to that stupid rap song Mikey started blaring the minute he knew it was raining...While music in general wasn't something Leo was very fond of, he could get why that song kept mentioning not being able to stand the rain against your window: rain somehow, had this power to bring out Leo's pensive side and really forced him to sit down and think. To think about anything and everything, however, all that he could think about now was Renet.

Seeing as Leo finally did understand her feelings about his late-night excursions to the surface, the least he could do was give her a good-bye kiss before running out the door instead of the usual 'We'll be back' which he usually yelled over his shoulder on the way out.
